A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available immediately in the Department of Chemistry at Missouri University of Science and Technology. We are looking for a highly motivated, skilled candidate with a strong background in biochemistry, DNA nanotechnology, nanoparticle synthesis, surface modification and characterization of plasmonic/photonic nanostructures. 

The research project involves the development of DNA-based plasmonic nanostructures and biosensors. Candidates should hold a Ph. D. in chemistry, physics, materials science, or other relevant disciplines. Good English communication and writing skills are required. Working experience with modeling of plasmonic and photonic nanostructures is a plus.
